Let your AI assistant handle the meeting follow-up.

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to Less Meeting. Ask what was decided and who owns what, then have it build next week's agenda, check off finished action items and send the minutes.

Works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any MCP client · included in every plan and the free trial

What you can ask your assistant

A few examples, from prepping the agenda to sending the minutes.

Before the meeting

  • What's still open from last week's leadership meeting?
  • Set up Monday's team meeting with last week's open items and parking lot.
  • Add “Q4 hiring plan, 15 minutes” to Thursday's agenda.

After the meeting

  • Send the minutes from this morning's standup to everyone who attended.
  • Mark the vendor contract action item done.
  • What did we decide about the pricing change?

Between meetings

  • Which action items do I owe this week?
  • How have our KPIs moved over the last four weekly reviews?
  • Which of our recurring meetings scored lowest this month?

Your assistant works from what your team wrote down

Less Meeting keeps decisions, action items with their owners and due dates, goals and KPIs as separate parts of each meeting. Your assistant can answer “who owns this and when is it due?” directly, and anything it changes is waiting in the meeting your team opens next.

Read your meetings

List and search meetings, then open one for its agenda, notes, decisions, action items, goals, parking lot, KPIs, score and ratings, plus the previous meeting in the series.

Track action items

List your action items across meetings, including the ones still open, and check them off when they're done.

Create and edit meetings

Build a meeting with its agenda, then add or change notes, action items, goals, parking lot items, KPIs and attendees.

Send the minutes

Email the minutes to everyone who attended once the notes are in.

Connect in three steps

You sign in with your Less Meeting account, so there's no API key to copy.

  1. 1

    Copy the server address

Every assistant connects to the same address, shown below.

  2. 2

    Add it as a connector

In Claude it's a custom connector, in ChatGPT a connector under developer mode, and in Cursor an entry in mcp.json.

  3. 3

Sign in and choose the access

Less Meeting opens so you can sign in. On the consent screen, keep “create and update” ticked, or untick it to connect read-only.

Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, on claude.ai and the desktop app.

  • Claude Code

One terminal command, then /mcp to sign in.

claude mcp add --transport http lessmeeting https://app.lessmeeting.com/mcp
  • ChatGPT

Turn on developer mode, then create a connector with OAuth authentication.

  • Cursor

Cursor Settings → MCP → Add new MCP server, pointing at the address above.

Privacy and access

Reading your meetings is always on. Creating and changing them needs your permission on the consent screen.

Read-only if you prefer

The consent screen lists what the assistant is asking for. Untick “create and update” to connect read-only.

Same access as your account

The assistant sees the same meetings you can see in Less Meeting.

No recordings

Less Meeting doesn't record or transcribe your calls. The assistant works from the agenda, notes and action items your team wrote.

Disconnect from settings

Settings → Applications lists every connected app and what it can do. Disconnect one and it loses access straight away.

MCP Server FAQ

About the MCP Server

What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to other apps. Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor all support it, and Less Meeting's MCP server uses it to give your assistant access to your meetings.
Do I need to be technical to set it up?
No. In Claude and ChatGPT you paste one address into the connector settings and sign in to Less Meeting. The setup guide has the steps for each assistant.
Which AI assistants does it work with?
Claude (claude.ai, the desktop app and Claude Code), ChatGPT and Cursor, plus any other client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth. Less Meeting is also listed in the official MCP Registry as com.lessmeeting/mcp.
Which plan do I need?
Any active plan, Personal or Team, and the free 14-day trial includes it. If a trial or plan lapses, the assistant stays connected but can't read or update anything until the plan is active again.

Access and Privacy

Can the assistant change my meetings?
Only if you allow it. Updates are ticked by default on the consent screen; untick them to connect read-only. To switch later, disconnect the app and connect it again.
Does a meeting my assistant creates go on my calendar?
No. It's created in Less Meeting only, and no invitations go out. Send them from the meeting page when you're ready. Attendees can only be people you've already met with in Less Meeting.
What happens to my notes?
Your notes are stored encrypted. When an assistant you've connected reads a meeting, Less Meeting decrypts that meeting's notes to send them to it. From there, the assistant provider's own privacy terms apply, so check them before you connect.
How do I disconnect an assistant?
Open Settings → Applications in Less Meeting, find the app under Connected Apps and click Disconnect. Changing your Less Meeting password also disconnects every app.
