What's included in a License?

Your License will provide you with unlimited access to the Less Meeting client, Apps/Integrations and Web Software for 1 individual (solo) or 10 individuals (team pack).

All maintenance, upgrades and additional features are included in your price.

Can I combine Team and Solo licenses?

No, we've tried to make it really cheap to get your team up and running. To give you such a great deal, we need you to grow to your team on Less Meeting.

Can I try out Less Meeting before I buy?

Yes, we'll give you a 10 pack to try Less Meeting for 1 free month! When your trial period is up, you'll be prompted to purchase a license pack.

How will I be billed?

Monthly Billing: For the monthly billing option, you'll input your credit card billing information upon purchasing licenses (after your free trial is up). Once a month, we'll automatically deduct the amount owed for the coming month.

After a month of service has begun, you are responsible for the charges for that month. Should you choose to cancel your service, you will be responsible for paying that month's service fees in full.

Yearly Billing: Yearly billing is available with the same process as monthly billing, and includes 2 free months of service. Any year of service you enter into will likewise be non-refundable.


Note: Refunds cannot be issued and partial months cannot be prorated.

What types of payment can I use?

We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express through our online billing system for yearly or monthly payments (powered by Stripe).

Are there any discounts to use Less Meeting?

Yes, Less Meeting works best with your whole team on board! You can get a significant discount when you purchase in team packs (10 licenses per pack)

You can also get 2 free months if you purchase a year of service.

How do I buy licenses for my team?

After your trial is up, add as many 10 packs as necessary to cover your team.

You'll have a page to view the currently used licenses, distribute to your teammates, and add/subtract licenses.

Do I have to sign a long term contract?

Nope. You can choose to pay for service on a month to month basis. When you sign up for monthly billing, you are responsible to pay for any months of service you enter into. But you can cancel at any time, and we won't bill you again.

Why would I not choose yearly billing and get 2 months free?

Yearly billing offers a great discount of 2 months free if you purchase licenses for the year upfront.

However, there are NO refunds for the Yearly billing option.

If you're still evaluating whether or not Less Meeting is right for your organization, you should stick to Monthly billing.

Can I change to yearly billing later and still get the discount?

Yes, you may upgrade to yearly billing from a monthly billing cycle, and you will receive the 2 month discount for the following year of service.

However, we do not support changing from Yearly to Monthly billing.

Safety, Privacy & Service

Is my data safe?

We're committed to keeping your data safe. The Less Meeting service is hosted by Microsoft on their highly available Azure Infrastructure, a system built for security compliance and with locked down access. Azure adheres to many of the industry standards for security compliance, such as SAS 70 Type I and Type II attestations and ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certification.

Our web software is updated regularly with the latest security patches, and our Outlook plug-in will automatically stay up to date with the latest patches.

What about safety for my billing information?

Less Meeting will never store your credit card information on our servers. Credit Cards are securely stored in our payment processing gateway, which is a very respected vendor in the field that complies with full PCI compliance.

In English, this basically means your data is protected by a rigorous standard created by VISA/MasterCard.

Can the Less Meeting staff see my meeting data?

Our staff CANNOT see your meeting notes or action items. We have the ability to help troubleshoot issues, but can't view your sensitive information.

Your meeting data is encrypted using AES 256 encryption, randomly generated IVs and Salts, and a Certificate with non-exportable private keys. In other words, it's pretty tough to crack.

What are your terms of service?

The gist: you have sole rights to your meeting content, you agree to adhere to acceptable use and you will not violate copyright laws.

What are your privacy terms?

What browsers can I use?

The Less Meeting web site supports Firefox 3.5 (or higher), Internet Explorer 7 (or higher), Safari 4 (or higher), and Chrome 4 (or higher).

What are the Outlook plug-in requirements?

The Less Meeting plug-in requires Microsoft Outlook 2007+ and .Net 3.5 running on Windows XP/Vista/7.
